Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 June 2026
1. The service
PocketPoppins helps parents capture and remember family moments via the web app and optional messaging channels. The service is provided by [COMPANY DETAILS — TO BE COMPLETED]. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Alpha service
PocketPoppins is currently in alpha. It is provided "as is": features may change or be removed, the service may be unavailable, and — despite our best efforts — data loss is possible. Please keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 to use PocketPoppins. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the content you log. You confirm you are entitled to record the information you log about your children and family.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive;
- upload content you do not have the right to upload;
- attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, or circumvent its security;
- resell the service or use it to build a competing dataset.
5. No medical advice
PocketPoppins may generate AI responses, including to health-related questions you log. These responses are for general information only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any questions about your child's health, and call emergency services in an emergency.
6. Your content
You own the content you log. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process it solely to provide the service to you. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Notice.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, the service is provided free of charge during the alpha and we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you is limited to £100.
8. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, and may withdraw the alpha service with reasonable notice where practicable.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will flag significant changes in the app or by email; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
